I have emailed and tried but cannot get an ftp connection to work with my host. Found this out last night after edk suggested that I get the webcam going again. No FTP = No webcam. Grrrrrrrr.
I am working on it.
Also, in the news the doctor’s office says that they are going to give me samples of the medication that my insurance will cover but then give me the other ones that work and that my insurance won’t cover. Ummmm…ok….at least I am medicated.
I was looking for a LaMadeline website the other day (turns out they don’t have one) and came across the recipe for their tomato basil soup. I have made it and I think that it is the real deal.
Lamadeline’S Tomato Basil Soup
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients
4 Cups Tomatoes; Chopped
3 Cups Tomato Juice
1 Cup Chicken Broth
14 Fresh Basil Leaves
1 Cup Heavy Cream
1/4 Pound Butter; Unsalted
Salt; To Taste
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
Combine tomatoes, juice and/or stock in saucepan. Simmer 30 minutes.
Puree, along with the basil leaves in small batches in blender or
processor.
Return to saucepan and add cream and butter, while stirring over low
heat. Garnish with basil leaves and serve with your favorite bread.
School starts back up next week. Another long semester ahead and the hopes that much more will be accomplished this semester than last.
